ADVERTISING IN AMAZING FIGURE MODELER MAGAZINE IS AS EASY AS ONE, TWO, THREE!
1. RESERVE YOUR AD SPACE!
The deadline for space reservation for issue #52 is April 10th.
Whether you are a first time or a long-time advertiser, you need to contact us and reserve your ad space. We will never assume that you will run an ad unless we have a space reservation, so please call or e-mail confirmation that you will be in an upcoming issue. Once space reservation deadlines have passed, we may not be able to fit you into an issue already in production, so please don't forget this all-important step. We need to know size and whether you are planning black and white or full color. Unless you have made prior arrangements, you must send the payment for your ad to reserve your space.
2. Send your ad in on time! Deadline for ad materials: April 20th.
Once you've reserved your ad space, please send your ad in by the deadline listed. If you are having problems contact us and see whether we can offer an extension. If not, we will have to bump your ad to the next issue. For us to remain on a tight publishing schedule we cannot be held up by late ads.
3. Make sure payment accompanies the ad.
Unless you've made prior arrangements or are under contract, payment in full MUST accompany the ad. Ads not paid for by press time will be pulled from the publication, no exceptions. All checks and money orders should be made payable to Amazing Figure Modeler magazine. We also accept VISA and MasterCard. You can call in your card number to our business office at 614-882-2125. Subject Theme for our next issue: Cinema Gothic
Gather around the candelabras all 'ye Children of the Night, as we take a plastic plunge into the dark world of Cinema Gothic kits. Vampires are always a Gothic staple, and we bet you’ll be salivating to sink your pointed teeth into our gruesome gang of fang faced classics. First for you Classic Horror fans, we’re just dying to show you Blackheart Models’ bloody eyed version of Christopher Lee’s legendary role as “Count Dracula.” Next, turn the channel for some TV scares with Round 2’s re-release of MPC’s “Barnabas Collins,” a vampire kit that doesn’t suck when merged with Cult of Personality’s upgraded head. Trampling in next is a runaway symphony of terror by the original bloodsucker himself, Nosferatu. Also waiting in the wings is a customized “Voldemort,” another bald villain Harry Potter fans are sure to go batty over. Needful Things “Moon Phat” extinguisher of life and keeper of evil, plots his next move against a backdrop of Steam Punk machinery while a pair of Gothic Zombie Horrors strike back from the grave and things get hairy with Bram Stoker’s Wolf-Dracula. The AFM Artist profile covers the Goth-tinged styling of Jean Louis Crinion’s whimsical kits, plus they’ll be plenty more melancholy models, reviews and stunning photography awaiting readers in the blackened pages of America’s one and only figure kit magazine, Amazing Figure Modeler!
Advertising and Press Release Deadlines:
To be sure of making this issue's deadline, photos and press release submissions for the new product section as well as any kits for review are due by April 10th. The deadline for reserving your space is April 10th, and we'll need your ad in hand by April 20th to be safe. The issue should ship in late May. Our advertising count as well as our newsstand orders has been steadily rising, so to make sure we can fit you in, reserve your space early! If you've not advertised in a while, this would be the issue to be in! Email, phone or drop us a card by April 10th to be sure to get in this issue. We will always add pages to accommodate advertisers, but after the deadline passes the page count is set, and it's first come only. Let us know the size ad and whether you want color or Black and White.
Just a reminder, we are now using a printing process called "Direct to plate" so we have to receive your ads in a disk format. If you have any questions about this or anything else, just let me know, and as always, thank you for your support!

ADVERTISER TESTIMONIALS
John Tucky, X-O Facto:
"Advertising in AFM is a no brainer. If you're a retailer or producer of garage kits it is the only magazine worth advertising in. It boils down to getting the most bang for your advertising buck and the way to do that is to have your ads seen by as many people in the hobby as possible. AFM goes out to more readers than any other garage kit magazine, that's a fact! Since starting X-O Facto ten years ago, I've run an ad in every issue of AFM to date. If it weren't for the AFM advertising, XO would not have grown to be what it is today. Other magazines may offer cheaper ad space but why waste the money on an ad that's only going to be seen by a few people? If you advertise consistently in AFM it will pay off for you."
Mike Petryszak, Critical Mass:
"I have advertised for 7 years with AFM and only missed two issues. To my surprise, I have gotten orders from every major continent and I have never had an Ad that didn't pay for itself, which is surprising, since I only offer my own kits. While I have tried other magazines, I find that AFM gives me the best exposure for the money. AFM has been a great experience for me."
Terry Fitton, Monsters in Motion:
"Amazing Figure Magazine has been the heart and soul of the figure kit industry for over 10 years and is one of the only advertising resource that can give us a 100% return and put us in front of serious hobbyist that wants our product. Thank you for being here for us!"
Michael Allen, Forbidden Zone:
"My ads in AFM are essential to the success of my kit line. I can rest assured that my kits are being seen by all the serious builders and collectors out there. Not only that, but my line is displayed in the best possible light, wrapped in the best presentation possible! Thanks AFM!"
